I wish they'd patch Supreme Commander up to a playable state online before they started moving attention elsewhere.

I'm hoping for the low-end version of SupCom, Sub-Regional Assistant Manager Commander.

@Pirotic

Supreme Commander works perfectly well online over here, and with all the other people I know who play this. What's wrong with it?

the GPGnet system they use to match make is piss poor, and you are unable to see the statistics of players when in the lobby so it's impossible to find droppers until it's too late.

not to mention lots of sync issues which they are already aware of, and the hacks such as being able to build buildings on top of other buildings if you know how and so forth.

It's a bit of a mess at the moment, I'm on a break from it until they patch it up.

Well, they were preparing a big massive patch with the map editor (the official one). I have tried the 3rd party one and its not really that great.

I hope to see the editor and as you say some online improvements on the next patch that is supposed to come out real soon :)

Most sync issues were fixed weeks ago, and the building exploit is being auto-monitored for ranked games... I agree that GPGNet is not perfect by any means but it's hardly unusable. These guys seem to be very pro-active with support and updates for the game, I think you're being a little harsh on them.

SupCom isn't worth playing on any single core CPU out there. I know because I have one.
