Gouken, the chap who taught Ryu and Ken how to fight, will be a secret unlockable character in the console version of Street Fighter IV.
That's according to Japanese magazine Famitsu (read by Kotaku), which rarely tells porky pies.
Gouken looks rather healthy for someone who's supposed to be dead. He also happens to be the brother of evil boss Akuma.
The PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of Street Fighter IV are yet to be dated.
However, you can play the game at the Eurogamer Expo in London in October. How? On the arcade machines Capcom is supplying, silly. Tickets for the event are cheap and on sale now.

@bdc: Sheng Long was not actually a character, it was just a mistranslation of the Japanese for Dragon Punch.
"You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance" should've read "You must defeat my Dragon Punch to stand a chance" I thought the same as you until I checked wikipedia. Learn summink new every day! |
