Godfather for PS3, Wii
Don and Blackhand editions.
EA has announced The Godfather: The Don's Edition for PS3, and The Godfather: Blackhand Edition for Wii.
The games will be developed by EA's Redwood Studios and are scheduled for release in March.
Both versions will offer brand new content, with two extra rival family compounds to destroy, five additional contract killings to carry out, and larger Corleone hit-squads at your disposal.
There are also new Shipyard and Railyard transportation hubs to explore and exploit, as well as the option to chat up specific characters to get the "skinny"on dirty cops.
Rest assured that each of the console's unique controller options will be catered for.
Those of you with a PS3 will now be able to "manhandle your controller to manhandle your opponent," while the Wiimote wavers among you can "use gesture with the Wii-mote and Nunchuck to really beat down your opposition". (Man.)
We're not quite sure how you're supposed to manhandle a controller, but we're excited nonetheless. So excited in fact, that we're going to lock ourselves in the trunk of a car and drive it over a cliff.

Changes made to the game include 'Blackhand Control,' which allows the gamer to use gesture-based movement in combat and aim their firearm with the Wiimote
Hmmm.... I don't think this will be getting played on my Wii...

then we could wrap him in copper wire and place two magnets either side of him and have him power the EA offices.

Do all these PS3 games with stupid-arsed control fudges allow you to turn it all off and play with 'buttons' instead? Y'know, like normal people?

(If you're unfamiliar with the Godfather controls you already grab people by holding left & right shoulder buttons, the idea being that you're then gripping he controller as if it were the target's lapels.)
