I was really liking what he said until that. This translates as 'we're releasing the PC version at the same time as the console version'. Oh, gee, thank you. |

I'm sick of publishers (especially f***ing EA) playing fast and loose with release dates simply to turn a profit.
When a game is totally and utterly done, gold, finito, and one release date has already been set, I don't know how much value a massive advertising splurge in the midst of a recession will add... Just pay some jaded ad man to illegitimately rip off a YouTube viral from last year and bob's your uncle. No need to make an arrested development dollys house game seem like the second sodding coming. |

Moribund, the problem with your little theory is that people also complain when there are lots of games out at once.
so first it's ''ea released the games at the wrong time so they flopped'' and now it's ''stupid ea holding back games for better chance of sucess''. I mean febuary is already stacked for me, with shellshock 2, fear 2, deadly creatures, street fighter 4 and house of the dead and dead rising for wii all due this month so the godfather delay is a good thing for me since i will now be able to buy it straight away when it hits. |

I'm sick of publishers (especially f***ing EA) playing fast and loose with release dates simply to turn a profit. Looks like EA need to make shareholders happy in 2010 . Ofcourse they want to make a profit, ofcourse they need to make shareholders happy they are not a fucking charity, they want to make money. And considering current economic state $$ aren't going to start raining down anytime soon; they do what they hope will carry them through the hard times. I'm upset about DA being pushed back as well, and even pissed off because it's thanks to syncing with console release, but it's kinda an existential anger, not being angry with them for trying to turn a fucking profit. |
