God of War for PSP
Later this year.
God of War is heading to the PSP later this year, it has emerged.
Although Sony has not officially announced the existence of the game, a teaser advert for the game appears in the U.S. instruction manual of God of War II with the words "coming 2007" underneath.
Development of the PSP version appears to have been handed to Ready At Dawn - the studio's logo also features at the foot of the advert. Ready At Dawn previously cut its teeth producing the acclaimed PSP-exclusive, Daxter.
Sony was unavailable for comment this morning, but 'official' official confirmation is expected at GDC during Phil Harrison's keynote speech on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Sony has God of War II lined-up for release in Europe on PlayStation 2 on 30th March, and March 13th in North America. You can catch up with our impressions of the game elsewhere on the site. Check back soon for a full review.

I mean if you've got the instruction booklet why not?

This was the project "HL", which was scrapped, because according to Jaffe himself, it sucked.
a teaser advert for the game appears in the instruction manual of God of War II with the words "coming 2007" underneath.
The teaser advert also shows the Ready At Dawn logo, which was rather expected.
PSP owners all over the globe have already been hyped over this game ever since Ready At Dawn showed a "Coming Soon" message for an "unannounced PSP title" using the God Of War font in their website. As soon as the rumours got fired up, the font got replaced by the less telling Daxter font - Subtle, lovely, viral marketing at it's best.
The final confirmation will be given on Wednesday, one would think.

Damn, there's no way I'm going to finish both FFXII and Okami by then... Mind you, I'll probably buy it regardless!

"God Of War II review?

Instructions for the US version that is. I'd rather they review the actual game I'd be playing, namely the UK version.
Please EG, don't do again what you did with FF12: "FF12 is now out, here's a link to the 4 month old review we did of the Yank version". Lazy and shit journalism.

Don't applaud them for it, there's absolutely no reason why it can't be in the same week. A lot of developers releasing games on the 360 manage it. Managing to release it in the same month is a bit better, but still shit.

It's not like they're going change the game exponentially between America and Europe release not even the add-ons, it's still fundamentally the same game.
But it IS more appreciated if they do, do that.
