Looks sweet. But how many portable consoles can one guy carry on a conference trip? I couldn't leave the DS at home....

If it actually gets released, then... WONDERFUL!

Where's the demo? Please don't 'Gran Turismo PSP' this game.

there is a UMD demo that was mailed out to early registers on the website. I *ahem* acquired it, and have to say, it's bloody impressive from not only a technical point of view (which it is - somewhere between ff10 and GoW1 on PS2), but also gameplay. With having a fixed camera (exactly like the other 2 god of war games) this game becomes instantly better than 99% of 3rd person action games on the psp (killzone liberation another exception), and the combat is as quick and fierce as the other 2 games. A definite purchase!

Some of those screens are obviously touched up, hate it when companies do that as it distracts from what an accomplishment this has been. If only more developers put a little effort into it, could make some stunning games on PSP, and do it on a reasonable budget.

EDIT Unrelated Rant Mode:
Small, middling sized developers should be falling over themselves to work on it, rather than falling off the cliff trying to include the kitchen sink that people unrealistically demand in a PS3 or Xbox360 game. There's the additional benefit of having a PSP install base desperate for new titles to play, and who are more willing to take risks on new IP.

Before Nintendo fans get in a hissy, I just mean in terms of ideas designed around the standard controller scheme, obviously if you're ideas is touch screen, wii remote orientated go with them, but not every idea is suitable for either control scheme.

I don't see any obvious touching up. The super hi-res images are from the video out I think.

Agreed. None of the native resolution ones look any different to what I've seen in game. The bloom and godrays may look like they've been photochoped in but they are there in game in glorious and solid frame rate. If I'm not mistaken this is one of the first games that will clock the PSP up to 333mhz?

The other, high resolution shots will probably be captures from development kits. Don't think the game actually renders at higher resolutions using video out, does it? I just assumed it upscaled.
