God of War 3 "coming soon"

Sony has dropped its biggest hint yet about God of War 3.

Flipping over the instruction booklet that comes with the US version of God of War PSP game, Chains of Olympus, IGN discovered a "coming soon" teaser.

It shows the God of War omega symbol with a PS3 logo inside it above the words "Coming Soon" and, in case it wasn't clear enough, the words "PlayStation 3". Whatever could it mean.

This isn't the first we've heard of God of War 3, of course, with a Sony spokesperson making reference to it late last year.

Former God of War game director David Jaffe has also said in the past that he hopes the series will become a trilogy.

There are already three instalments, though, thanks to Chains of Olympus on PSP, which is reportedly due out in Europe on 28th March.
