Plus: 50 per cent off The Secret too.

Episode One of Tales of Monkey Island will be available free of charge from midnight tonight.

But only for a very limited time, as it's to celebrate this year's Talk Like a Pirate Day. You can register at the Telltale Games website to receive a reminder email.

Telltale is also cutting the price of The Secret of Monkey Island by 50 per cent. The deal applies to the iPhone, Steam and Direct2Drive special editions, and will be available until 22nd September.

The third episode in the Tales of Monkey Island series will be released on 29th September.

I was wondering that, I could only see a cut price series purchase for 'Tales of Monkey Island' on the site (though not 50% off)

Though logging onto Steam, Valve have a 50% off offer
