Get Batman: Arkham Asylum PC free
When you buy an Nvidia GeForce card.
Nvidia is giving away free copies of Batman: Arkham Asylum for PC.
To get one, you need to buy a GeForce graphics card - either the GTX 260, GTX 275 or GTX 285.
In return, as confirmed by the Nvidia website, you'll get a coupon for a digital download of Arkham Asylum. The coupon will be valid for use between 18th September - 31st December.

I have an old Athlon X2 CPU and completed Crysis with no real framerate problems on my PC on medium-high, but GTA 4 and Arma II have a framerate so low they are basically unplayable at any setting.

I played Crisis on a GTX 8800 and it ran fine, everything turned on as well. It slowed down a bit sometimes, but never to the degree you describe. Maybe some other issue?

I probably mean more that the ones on sale will have the stock coolers. Big and clunky.
