Get all classes in Too Human demo News

Xbox 360 News by Robert Purchese

24 July, 2008

The Too Human demo allows access to the other four classes found in the full game, besides the Champion.

To unlock them you need to use a simple workaround found by clever-clogs G4.

Disconnect from the internet and, in the Xbox 360 dashboard, change your console date to any time in or after 2009.

Then, start a fresh campaign in the Too Human demo, and the Berserker and Commando should already be unlocked in the character selection screen.

To access the Defender and Bioengineer, flick the left analogue stick to the right as you select either class by pressing A. When your campaign begins, you will be whichever of the classes you selected.

Too Human is due out exclusively for Xbox 360 on 29th August.

You can read our thoughts on a fuller version of the game in our Too Human hands-on impressions.

Yes but shh not everybody is as savvy as you! Let's pretend it is super new and then maybe dress up like milk maids and prance around the hills.

TitusGroan your right it does have a Diabolo2, Balders gate feel to it, maybe that's where the main character gets his name from

Oh...

Couldn't get into this at all. Tries to be/do so many different things, but fails miserably.

Might make this a purchase. Played through the demo with each of the five classes, some give better gameplay experiences than others (commando is horrible), generally enjoyable though. Online co-op with complementary abilities could be interesting. Anyone know which class they'll be playing as?

How is this the worst demo one has ever played, or 'failing miserably'?

You might not like it, but leave the stupid hyperbole at the door please, next to the trolls.

Hey Rob,

Just wanted to correct you on who initially discovered the glitch. It wasn't actually G4 but a user over at GameFAQs by the name of Dimascus who published the method and a video over a week ago.

We then published the following article detailing Dismascus' find, along with our own streamlined guide, prior to G4's video.

Nice to see the secrets out though! :)

Cheers,

Who actually liked this demo? End game might be different, but to me, in an RPG, one of the things I enjoy is going around talking to people. It gives a richness to the world and a sort of backstory/opinion poll to the world. I was dismayed when I could not go around and just talk to people. There is not even a button to do this! Plus, why or why did they make the death scenes unskippable, completely boring having to wait for it to finish. I finsished the demo, I gave it a chance and it is not up to much in my view.
Anyway, if you removed the norse mythology, IT IS another space marines in space story.
I quite liked the combat. Maybe the final game will be a lot better, but the demo left me a bit cold and a lot bewildered.

I finally got around to playing the demo (damn you Silver Live membership) and to my surprise I quite enjoyed it. Graphics were OK (reminded me of Mass Effect, but without the tearing, slowdown and texture pop in) and the game play was enjoyable in a Baldurs Gate type way (hack, slash, collect items, upgrade etc). One to keep an eye on.

Edit: It has to be one of the most generous demos I've played. It took me over an hour to complete !
