It was a shame that the Bizarre presentation at NGC '03 was beset with technical difficulties which, along with a bloody appalling choice of venue (poor acoustics, lack of decent audience seating) meant that I caught only half of what was said.

It is testament to the power and beauty of simple geometry that the game is as hypnotically entrancing as it is. Yes, in its later iterations the shaders have added a further lacquer to the visuals, but deep down it is has a timeless elegance that will stand the test of time better than any 'realistically' rendered virtual world.

I always think its sad that galaxies never came out on a console with a proper interface. an XBLA VERSION WOULD BE COOL
