My OEM Geforce256 SDR cost me £150 on release. I gather the DDR and retail boxed ones cost quite a bit more.

To be honest, nVidia can suck my lozenge with these 6 monthly updates, unless they start charging reasonable prices. Anyone remember buying their TNT at launch for £125? Good grief.

Totally with you on that one Reeps! I have a full upgrade about once every three-four years.
However, I must admit if I had the monies I'd upgrade every 6 months!

Not as bad as my sister, who recently upgraded from a 38x cdwriter to a 40x cdwriter, and subsequently saved all of about 5 seconds copying time.

I'll wait until something radical happens, before I upgrade. I'm not holding my breath. To illustrate how apathetic I am toward the PC industry these days (having been a part of it since my mam bought me an XT back in '88), I was looking at an advert for the new lamp style IMac the other day and thinking "Hmmm..."
