Ok, so it will be "better"... but will it be longer also?

Will they be adding a character who is openly gay this time?

The story in the first didn't make a lick of sense.

The story is hardly going to be worse is it? Break out of prison, kill anything you meet that isn't a muscly bloke, stay out of the dark.

Thoroughly enjoyable game though, but I don't think anyone plays it for the story. They just want an Aliens-alike co-op sci-fi horror shooter.

GoW was hilarious. Wasn't the lead character called Markus Fenix? He's going to be joined by Jake Bullet and Max Power in this one.

We've got Josh Ortega, who's like a great comic book writer

Oh go on, why not hire a great comic book writer instead? :)

wasn't necessarily as robust as it could have been

Analogy of (gay?) p0rn and storytelling comes to mind...

Some insight as to how the locusts got there in the first place would be nice. And who's the ice-queen doing the voice-overs?

Leaving major gaps in a plot is a risky gamble - get JJ Abrams on board if you're thinking of doing it again, Cliffy.

I loled in real-life when I read they were making a novel of the first game. The story is that sh*t I'd actually, for the first time ever, recommend people just skip it to play the game.

One of the reasons why the original isn't worthy of anything over 8/10, and shame on anyone who thinks otherwise.

DiamondIce "Shame on me for thinking it was more of a 9/10 game."

Well, at least you didn't say 10/10... lol

A glittering career at GamesTM would be waiting for you otherwise...

...And that's not something to be proud of.

"..and shame on anyone who thinks otherwise"

Shame on you for assuming you know what other people value in a videogame. With the amount of playthroughs (at least 5) and the amount of multiplayer my copy got, plus the fact that (IMO) it STILL has the best visuals of any console game, it easily rates as a 10/10.
