GDC: 1000 DSi Points with DSi console
Free virtual money for European gamers.
Nintendo has announced that European consumers will be given 1000 free Nintendo DSi Points (GBP 7.00 / EUR 10.00 approx) when they buy the new dual-screen handheld.
The offer runs for a limited time, and the points can be claimed and then redeemed by accessing the Nintendo DSi Shop.
Nintendo has not said how long the giveaway will last, but has said that the points will still be valid after the promotion ends.
The company did the same thing at the Japanese launch of the DSi and reportedly will repeat the trick in the US - and now Europe.

This is something I'm not 100% clear about.
