GC: PGR4 in October
Motorbikesmotorbikes.
Microsoft has confirmed that Project Gotham Racing 4 will be coming to the UK on 12th October.
It's the next installment in Bizarre Creations' arcade-style racing series, with new shiny cars, weather effects so fancy you'll like the rain, and motorbikes. Also, motorbikes.
October is a month later than we were originally expecting it, although Bizarre has remained adamant its latest would be released "when it was done". This time round it is taking its time, you see, rather than rushing to make a console launch.
We had a chance to hop behind the wheels towards the end of July, so rather than tell you about it myself, I'll point you towards Tom's first impressions of Project Gotham Racing 4. He says things like fun, kudos, puddles, fast, and motorbikes. Also, motorbikes.

Time does funny things when you're lazing your days away in an easy (but shit) uni and doing nothing all summer, lol.

PGR nails the arcadey experience (minus the powerups) - promoting style over speed. Forza, on the other hand, is for people interested in all the subtleties involved with real driving.
PGR is fun. Forza is sublime.
