I'd never even heard of GamersGate before - how does it differ from Steam?

Well, I know for sure that from that list, Stalker and Juiced 2 are definitely on Steam, and perhaps the others are too - so my question is: what's the point?

Hmm, pricing seems a bit high for DD

(e.g. The Witcher: 49 Euro on GamersGate, whereas it's half that amount for the physical product on Amazon and Play.com)

Yeah the pricing is something these services are not getting right. Steam is hit and miss some games are well priced some are not (Cod 4 £41.99!!)

In many cases games are cheaper in the shops. They have little distribution and no packaging costs where is the cost benefit passed to me...

I bought Puzzle Quest from GamersGate. They had ripped out the original installer and added their own. That made the game not work. I had to download a few dll-files off of the internet to get it to work, after reading about the problem on the official Puzzle Quest forums.

Needless to say, I don't think I'll be using their services again.
