Looks nice - although the respawning system sounds a bit Starwars Battlefront 2 - changing class to change weapons loadout.

In the Single Player, where you can capture enemy frontlines, is it possible for them to capture them back again, do you know?

As this is the first fully developed game from the Desert Combat folks I think this has quite a bit of potential. Definitly one to watch out for I think.

"We call it Kaos Theory."

I'm going to take one of these futuristic weapons and shoot him for that lame attempt at humour ;)

How about "making love" instead of war? Two sides/armies, each trying to impregnate the other without getting up the duff themselves. Think of the cool weapons.

Yeah I have an idea why don't we come up with a new imaginery engery source to fight over. It could be like green crystals that grow out of the ground. We could call it Viberium

"Using remote control, you can send them swooping into the window of a building and they'll tell you how many people are hiding out and where they're positioned."

I wonder, would these people then realise they're about to be attacked, or perhaps attack the drone? Or would they - in true FPS fashion - dumbly stay in the same position until you attacked them or triggered a scripted event.

It's because of the demographic.

I really did enjoy the variety of games on the PS2.

heh, they said "blap" and "wrist" in the same sentence.

Mind you, "blap" on it's own is better.

Blap, blap.

yeah.

The core members of the group came from Trauma Studios, creators of Desert Combat (one of the most successful mods of all time from the original Battlefield) and the R&D team for DICE's Battlefield 2.

Aah, that explain things.

This/Quake Wars?

QUAKE WARS. (or both, with QW as priority, seeing as the settings and available tech/direction is different...) Why QW? Because there can be no noobs, in any game! :o As the Stage Show Demo here http://uk.gamespot.com/pc/action/enemyte... shows!

This system that is mentioned should mean a more sensibly inclusive game, that's more popular, boasts stronger participation, and generally makes for a real enjoyable time playing in squads online (something I'm usually averse to) with everybody being given roles, and being advised as to how to carry them out, it should prevent a lot of people from just instintively shooting the first thing they see, and instead prioritising the needs of their team, and its objectives.
