Free MS Points for GTA pre-order
Should help with that DLC.
GAME is offering free Microsoft Points when you pre-order Grand Theft Auto IV from them.
Bribery, eh? Yes indeed, but we like bribery. Actually, journalists probably aren't supposed to say that.
Apparently it's for 500 Microsoft Points and four exclusive gamerpics, and GAME told us earlier that you will be emailed a code either on the day of release or soon after.
That day of release is of course 29th April for PS3 and 360, but the MS Points offer inevitably only applies to 360.
Find out more (er, less, actually) on GAME's website.

I work for them and my gaming knowledge knows no bounds
Although, yeah, there are a few staff who are pretty facking clueless, saying that the poor bugger mentioned above probably uses our 'release schedule' as his game bible and strangely we still have no codes for the super sexy special edition of GTA, it's probably going to need a deposit put on it.
Ohh, and Gamestation employ just as many clueless fuckers, our local one likes to tell their customers that Res Evil 5 will be released by the end of April.(This year)

I believe the special edition of GTA IV is only going to be available in certain places seeing as it's a huge bulky thing. So your local game may not be getting the special edition while your hmv is.

So, by not buying it for the same price elsewhere and getting less for your money (IE: JUST the game, no MS points/ rewards points)... that makes people that shop at fools?
A clever consumer wouldn't rule out shopping at a certain place just because they dislike the company ... no, a clever consumer would shop around for the best deal then use that company.
Have you ever/ would you ever shop at Gamestation?

As for Game online they've never let me down so far and with the double points and free delivery they are rarely overpriced for pre-orders. Not used Shopto yet as concerned that i might get a European copy and then cant trade in.
Online ordering avoids the instore gimps too (no offence Captainrb).
Went into Gamestation the other day to ask about the free pokerset with RB6Vegas2 and left more confused by the 2 hyperactive pimple covered gimps than when I went in
Edit: Oh and if you look around theres usually a voucher code for discount at game. I used the "Feboffer" code for an additionl £3 off. £39.99 - £3 - £2 for double points = £34.99 = pretty hard to beat except for maybe PlayAsia
