Free MMO Warrior Epic dated News

MMO News by Robert Purchese

14 May, 2009

GOA has announced a 19th May release date for Warrior Epic, a promising free-to-play MMO described as "Diablo meets The Sims".

It's pretty good, too - "one to watch like a hawk", as our recent hands-on impressions concluded. And Oli's not an easy man to please.

If that tickles your fancy, head over to the official Warrior Epic site to get involved in the beta.

Got into the closed beta and it certainly is a nice looking game (played about 45 mins), though the movement feels a bit cumbersome.

Free to play does not sound HARDSTYLE.

I've played about 2 hours of the CB myself and so far, am agreeing with entity.

It's decent enough looking and seems good for a bit of casual fun, but the camera's a bit finnicky and the movement is a bit awkward. It's also not the most intuitive of interfaces to navigate, but it is easy enough to pick up.

I can see myself having it on my computer and playing it every now and again when I get in the mood/have nothing better to do or play.

It'll never be as good as Mythos was going to be TBH but at least it's somthing to scratch that Hack and Slash inch until D3

@ Bigglesworth.

Of course, how could I be so blind.
In order to give an accurate two line first impression I must have immersed myself in the endgame until I developed stockholme syndrome and an inability to shave my neck.

I am a worthless nub, at the mercy of your pre-patch fire kicks...

Make it swift.

It is a beta though - all the problems could be fixed by the time it goes gold...
