Handy, as my subscription is about to run out so I'm basically getting a free four-day bonus.

Strange how I cancel my Gold subscription after approx. six years and I suddenly see this and a £5 off the annual subscription offer. I'm not interested though even if I do think it sucks that Microsoft limit free demos, which are effectively advertising, to Gold subscribers for a week. They even have the audacity to suggest you upgrade to Gold if you try to download such a demo on a Silver account! Cheeky buggers!

Game price drops if you please.

P.S. I got a one month free Gold sub card with my repaired Xbox 360 - can I use that to download demos without it activating my paid subscription again, i.e. does this simply expire after a month and revert back to Silver automatically or does it keep prompting you to pay a Gold sub after a month?

For fuck's sake....this usually means the percentage of timmies running around, TKing, Mic-whoring and Glitching, doubles.

I'm with Fab on this one. It's going to be bad, it's only 4 days though...

The last time it happened my "File Complaint" button was getting worn down because of the little neo-nazis running around with GTs like J3wKiller, etc. and singing songs like "Ain't no black...". The dozy cunts couldnt comprehend my "How many fucking blue people do you see walking down your street?" reply.

The price tag was never the issue, at its best Live meant having good fun and banter with people halfway across the world, with weird accents.

Nowadays its foulmouthed American kiddies spouting non stop hate comments, regardless of whether you are helping them or not. "I'll cover your back" guarantees the same "die you black cripple jew etc etc." response as giving them a headshot.
