It's not looking bad, but something isn't quite right. The shots immediately scream "videogame".

Maybe because that's exactly what it is? Maybe? ;-)

Far too computery for these days. I own a 360 and love it to bit's but from what i'm seeing of late, the PS3 dare I say it is looking the more graphically muscular of the two. (putting it nicely).

I'd agree with the ' it's okay ' sentiment. Not earth shaking but not crap either.

Theres no arguing that GT4 nailed the realisim better than Forza but I'd take 3d polly populated backdrops rather than the sprites and bitmaps - how about realtime reflections, self shadowin ect too need I go on? Theres also no arguing then there was more to the Forza engine than GT4s, half the framerate and the PS2 would still choke trying to reprodce whats on display in realtime.

To be fair I'm sure many would prefer for devs to aim strictly for realism for a racing sim, the Forza devs are certainly a talented bunch though so perhaps they will change their style in the next Forza...(or maybe having their own style was intentional?)

The problem is I've actually seen no evidence of this yet (infact so far all I've seen is evidence to support the exact opposite).

Taking the risk of offending you, have you seen F1 CE running yet?

F1 might look nice, but it plays like pap! :)

American? F1 is not supposed to play as NASCAR :)

To be fair, they wouldn't let anyone touch it at the store, not before the 23rd at any rate. All I can indeed tell so far is how it looks.

If it's true to the 'sport', it should...

Please don't because unless you're a graphics whore or someone that loves the technicalities behind video games, it's quite irrelevant.

I agree F1 looks good, but do you honestly believe a 360 couldn't put out comparable visuals? I'm pretty sure it could tbh...

I agree, it's well within what the 360 can do. On the other hand, it's one of those games that prove the PS3 graphics performance to be on par with the 360's, it doesn't really lag behind, does it?
