Forza 3 out in Europe before US
MS confirms a few days' headstart.
Microsoft has announced that Xbox 360 exclusive Forza Motorsport 3 will be released in Europe on 23rd October.
The platform holder yesterday announced the US release date as 27th October.
We've also been introduced to Swiss driver Natacha Gachnang, the new European "Face of Forza" - she's a 21-year-old Formula Two driver, cousin of F1's Sébastien Buemi, and consulted on the game's development.
Microsoft and developer Turn 10 are positioning Forza 3 as the ultimate driving simulator, but also want to make it as accessible as possible, with things like unlimited-use rewind to undo mistakes.
Check out our Forza Motorsport 3 hands-on preview from E3 to learn more about how that plays out.

Anyway got a wheel coming this week for this so I better hunt down F2 until it arrives. I always end up with at least one wheel each gen I should know better by now, I am 33.

Why? The vast majority of 360 games have an RRP of £49.99. What's your point? Granted first-party titles are usually £44.99, so this is a bit of a jump, but it's no more than most other games have been.

Agreed. I can't see the humour in the RRP either. As you said, EA, Activision, Take 2, etc have long priced their RRP's at £49.99 for "Next-Gen" consoles. Even Sony, after originally matching MS's £44.99 on launch, very quickly increased the recommended price to £49.99 and it has been that way for 18 months or so.
Of course, here in the UK we rarely pay anything near to the RRP, a fact that is often ignored when prople want to cry Rip-off Britain. It's pretty rare Stateside that a new release will get discounted (more than a couple of bucks anyway) as the margins aren't there for retailers to do so. Here in the UK, on the other hand, new titles are usually sold at discounted prices by around 20%, even at retail.
