Microsoft also said that another DLC pack would be released on 12th January to coincide with the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, although it didn't elaborate.

Damn I still need to get F3, had so much to play lately forgot all about it. Still at least it'll be cheap by the time I do get it! :)

There's clearly something wrong with me when I'll buy this despite still having another 3,435,225 cars to try out from the original roster. What a brilliant game. Good lineup of cars too, although that Porsche really is an unpleasant looking vehicle.

I do hope the next DLC pack is more oriented toward the lower end of the performance classes though. And includes the Ford Capri and the classic Mini and Beetle.

Brilliant car pack imo, and a good price from M$ for a change. Not so long ago this would probably gave gone for 800-1000 points.

    Track pack next please.

I'd love to see class G (PI < 100). To have old clonkers like 1974 Peugeot 504D and 1974 Mercedes 200D would be great! :)

400 points is the same cost as all 3 FM2 car packs were and I think the PGR pack was the same.

Agree, Give me a fiat 500 or a veyron and i'll choose the 500 every time. (in game of course :p)

As daft as it sounds i much prefer the least powerful cars. Wouldn't mind seeing some for 4x4's either like a Hummer.

@Hix15 - has anyone bought from that site? That deal seems too good to be true...

    @kenbrilliant

I bought from there years ago when they used to be part of wireplay. But I'm talking like 10 years ago now, not sure if they are any good anymore.

Same company as GAME it was originally there online side of the business. I have bought plenty of stuff off them and never had any problems, they also appear on quidco for further discount.s

I got sidetracked into DA:origins and AC2 - I tend to dip in and out of racing games, they're good for a quick half hour play at any time, unlike storyline games.

I'm still playing PGR4 on occasion!

Bought this, even though I can't actually afford to unlock half of the cars already in the game, never mind new ones. Despite relying almost entirely on the level-up cars (i.e. not spending millions to get through the career) I only have 5m credits and have just finished year 6 (been at level 50 for a while), so have probably ploughed a good 40hrs into the game.

The online auction house is great, but because it exists it means there can't be any loopholes or easy-money races (such as the 250k rally event in GT4) as it would devalue everything. It's unlikely that I'm ever going to be able to afford some of the cars in the game.

I echo the comments on some lower-level cars, the game could do with some older metal in the lower categories (especially European stuff, a few more hot hatches would be superb as the handling model suits them beautfully), I was sure this pack would get something like the Megane 250 to give it a bit of balance.

The '10 Audi S4 is a freebie as well (at least in the US) -- no charge.

2009 Audi #2 Sport Team Joest R15 TDI

while the game itself is good its a highly bland drive with the ms wheel, very floaty, especially when compared to the feedback from the dfgt with gt4/5p. im quite disappointed with that side of the game, bumpy tracks like sebring, le mans and the nurb are totally smooth. and the paint shop/decal editor is very buggy, sometimes whites are grey and coordintes dont match up. but, im still liking the game, i like the choices it gives you. i'll be interested to see the interior of the upcoming r35, but the gtr race car is outstanding imo, you can really drive the shit out of it

Haven't played this nearly as much as should, it's excellent though I do find Season Mode to be a bit grindy, I can't fault the actual driving.
  • dirk_aircool #17 2 years ago

way to many modern cars and race cars in this game.

T10 usually wait a while before they release lower end and classic models as dlc, as these are usually requested by the more hardcore forza'ers... no forzers...no.. forza's? anyway. there where also still a few cars that should have been, but could not been in the game at release, (does the word nissan-gtr spring to mind at all?). hopefully we will see some more makes of car in january rather than more models of existing makes in january as well, rolls royce, ascari, gumpert, and ariel would all be welcome. now for the inevitable thumbs down for absolutely no reason whatsoever.
