For the positional thing, couldn't you just split the pitch into 9 zones (def,mid,atk,left,middle,right), give you 100%XP for being in your 'key' area (say atk,left for a winger), 80% for the next nearest and 60% for the wrong place completely (like def,right for a left wing!). That would encourage the right sort of play, surely?

ALthough people might not want to be locked in to being a central defender, surely isn't as exciting as being a striker?

Ive signed up to the beta, but I think Ill just play real football games instead. I dont have a huge interest in levelling a footballer, Im happy levelling in WAR

Yes, i too played this at BETA. The match engine is just awful.

That's the real problem all this fancy shmansy stuff away from the game doesnt count.

It felt like Actua Soccer from last century. Got rid and now playing Legend mode on Pro Evo..lush.

Football MMO, it has to be football manager live..whenever that's ready.
