For Europe in October.

Sports Interactive has said Football Manager 2008 will be released across most of Europe on 19th October.

Exceptions are Spain, Czech Republic and Poland, who will have to wait until 26th October, 1st and 8th November respectively. Translation needs brushing up, you see.

The news comes from the latest blog by Sports Interactive team captain Miles Jacobson, who shrugged off sleep to share the news with us. And that's not all he'll be doing - he has grand plans to update the Football Manager 2008 site each week with juicy information for the genre-leading title.

You can already download a demo for the latest instalment, which is promising lots more depth and realism, but also better stabilisers for those of you a bit frightened about being the next Martin Jol.

Sorry, Tottenham, but I just can't help it.

nooo, i got for both my pc and 360 last year but preferred it on 360 cause it kept mucking up dimension settings on me ol laptop. everytime i exited it wouldn't put it back right, if that makes sense. to much fiddling for me.

Worked fine for me on my laptop. On the consoles it's too slow to navigate. Buy a better laptop!

lets hope the street date gets broken like the last few years!
Your laptop cant be that good if it cant even run FM properly....

yep! it's mad isn't it? not just size, but manufacturer as well! one minute it's a toshiiba satelitte pro 12" , the next it's a dell 20". amazing.

That means a release date of 19th October for first patch that addresses critical errors making the game unplayable

I am sure they do that just to piss off the poor people that managed to get the game early and are already a season or two into the game
