First Wii Music tracks revealed
Mario, Zelda, AC themes included.
The Japanese website for Wii Music is listing six of the songs featured in the game BUT IS IT A GAME OR IS IT A TOY OR IS IT ART OR IS IT A GAME OR OR OR.
According to Siliconera, they include the theme tunes to Super Mario Brothers, Legend of Zelda and Animal Crossing: Wild World.
You can also expect Mozart's Eine Kleine Nachtmusik and Ode to Joy from similarly dead composer Beethoven. And finally there's My Grandfather's Clock - a bluegrass song since covered by J-Pop artist Ken Hirai.
Wii Music is out in Japan this Friday, and will be released in Europe on November 14th. OR WILL IT yes actually.

Actually I consider Beethoven's ninth with the Ode zu Freude to be the best song/composition ever, so I'm kind of startled to see it in there.

That's fanservice for the core Nintendo gamer, so Reggie can call it a core game next time, doh.

"An die Freude", is it not? Why are you surprised? It's probably the most famous piece of pre-20th century music in existence.

Good Call!
Why is it as soon as I saw Mute City on the tracklist I actually became a tiny bit interested. If it's got the Starwolf Theme I'd probably consider buying it as a Christmas present for my half brother and give it a go myself.

Nintendo fully admit that it wasn't well represented at E3 and all you shallow 'oh I saw a trailer and I'm basing all my assumptions on that' types will just have to wait to see it in all it's glory.
Fair enough if you then go and play it and still think it's a piece of crap, but wait till you've actually seen the full game before coming to small minded conclusions.
