Looks sexy to me, I just hope the graphics reflect a bit more what's going on in the cities (like in the remake of Colonization).

Just as long as it doesn't have horrible cheating AI, that's all I ask, then I'll be a happy, happy man.

Firaxis are staying the course and not deviating, at all! Hooray!
Civ had cartoon graphics compared to its contemporaries. So did 2 and 3.

Heroes V switched hexes for squares, Civ V does the opposite. What is this, some kind of developer exchange? :)

You haven't played CivRev then. Anyway, my point was that I like the serious look of this new game.

Hexagons are important as they relate to gameplay. The graphics of a civ game? What the hell is wrong with the world! It can be 2D sprites done in 4 colours for all I care, it's CIV!
Hopefully they will continue the good work of making it run on low spec machines so i can keep it running on my laptop! Another reason to screw the graphics.

Ooh hexagons. That's big news. Is it pandering to its rabid fanbase by adding yet more layers of complexity at the expesne of accessibility? I do hope so!
Although lets hope it doesn't go too far that way...
