I think this new one is looking pretty sharp and true to the source. I hope they bring Allister Brimble back to make an updated version of the soundtrack.

Graphics look nice and spooky - Agreed Alistar Brimble should be brought back for the music - Proper old school :)
Although it would never happen, I'd love to see Alien Breed 3d with pretty graphics. It had some very clever level design, unlike its sequel which had pretty graphics and rubbish level design

And yes, Allister has remixed the original track which will be tucked away somewhere.

Finally some good stuff is starting to hit Xbox Live Arcade - Reckon these other games would work pretty well too...

Can't wait for the videos and the remixed music. The AB main title is one of the most memorable songs from that era. Oh, and please make sure you keep the "lock player rotation when fire button is held down" feature as well! :)

Your expectations for complexity in games can catch you off guard these days. What would appear to be a simple enjoyable blast em up can often feel just retro and naff.
(and just how freaking cool is Borderlands - now THAT'S a 2009 game)
