Why do people sell consoles? For what reason?
To finance a new purchase perhaps? Not everyone has time to play/room for multiple consoles. |

It's supposed to be out now. Amazon has it listed as temporarily out of stock. I also had a marketing email from Nintendo about it the other week.

Mugwum - did you feel like any of the things present in later Fire Emblems, like Bonus EXP, Skills and Supports not being there detracted from that game at all?

This is out now. I pre-ordered it from GAME and got it last Friday. I haven't had much time to play it yet but I am enjoying it very much so far. The maps have a more expansive feel, so far, than the tight maps I'm used to in Path of Radiance or Radiant Dawn and the game plays very quickly. If you love Fire Emblem, then I think you can add 1 or 2 to that 8/10.

I got my copy from Blockbusters, where there's a couple more still on the shelf. Our nearby Gamestation only received TWO copies.

/coffee splutterage WTF man, are you for real? You measure a console's worth by how many meals you can swap it for?

played the first couple of missions and was loving it, then out of the blue, I was told to sacrifice one of my party!! I was just sitting their dumbfounded, turned off my DS and haven't played it since

My local branch of Blockbuster has both this and Radiant Dawn in stock. In fact, the Wii title has just been reduced in their sale so I'm going to go get it now.
Nothing beats Advance Wars though. |

Advance wars doesnt have the strategy that Fire Emblem offers. Advance wars far too often has only one or 2 ways you can win a map expecially later in the game. Good luck trying to use units you want rather than what you _need_ to use to win a map. Blech! The lack of choices in that game is appalling. With the ability to change professions (or not) you have some interesting choices in the Fire Emblem. FE isnt perfect and there's no question that some maps are better designed than others.

Enjoying the game so far but I'm only at the fourth map or so and I've already got about fifteen units. I got like four horsemen, three pirates/fighters and two archers already. It's hard to choose which ones to level up at this point.
