Cody, Guy and Adon appear in SSFIV News

Cody, Guy and Adon have all been announced for inclusion in Super Street Fighter IV.

Japanese magazine Famitsu told the world so in its latest issue (spotted by Siliconera).

Images show Cody clad in striped blue and white prison garb, Adon high-kicking in Muay Thai style and Guy crouching pensively ready to launch a Ninjitsu attack.

All three fighters also appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3, but Cody and Guy originally appeared in Final Fight.

Super Street Fighter IV will bring new characters, specials, bonus rounds and multiplayer improvements to the mix. Launch is penned for spring 2010.

Update: Originally we said that all three were from Final Fight. Sorry about that.

I feel your pain Pastici. I plumped for Swapgame's £3.99 a month rental package to keep me going. Still end up with a list of about 12 games I want though.

Oh Capcom please, give us new characters! Classic Final Fight/SFAlpha characters are welcome but still I rather they used their time to develop new faces...

The uppermost top right box hints at another character being announced and shows Guy batting away a Kunai, as Ibuki uses in some of her special attacks.

I liked Guy. Cody I could definitely leave though.

I'm just hoping they don't bring back R. Mika.

I would have paid extra for a version of Street Fighter Alpha 3 without her back in the day....

@zoro I agree, Karin is one of my favourite Alpha 3 characters, also would be cool to see a couple Rival Schools characters (Sakura comes from this series) in the game as well, then again maybe *fingers crossed* Capcom will make a new one with this game engine.

I think Sakura was a guest in Rival Schools: United By Fate, but she'd already appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 2 by then, so she's definitely an SF character, not a RS one.

I like how siliconera claims "Famitsu spoiled Capcom’s new fighter announcement and introduced three new fighters" when it's mentioned in SSFIV blog that it will be revealed in Famitsu, and they are reporting it based on scans of a leaked copy of the mag from a guy who gets it a couple of days earlier than release day.

No Ibuki makes this game fail. I understood excluding her from the original because they were doing an original SuperSF2 cast+new era characters but not including her in SuperSF4 just makes this more of a sausage fest if anything.....Super Sausage Fest 4
