Woah, that's scarily realistic looking. Does the 360 version look like this?

Unfortunately in motion the animation breaks the realism a little. Still it's a bar raising title in terms of graphics.

Seconded about the animation, 3D graphics (on any gaming platform) rarely look convincing because of it. This will only become more and more apparent the more realistic the static models are getting.

On a related note: all this attention to detail and they still can't get elbow joints to look right? I realise rendering sweat and skin pores takes high priority, but isn't it time they started treating people like things with skeletons and muscles covered with skin, instead of clay puppets? You see this same problem with something supposedly revolutionairy like Crysis.

What with Round 3 coming out on 'old gen' and 'next gen', I wouldn't mind hearing from someone who has had a chance to play both iterations. Is the game and overal feel the same apart from the visuals?

I played both FNR3 on both the PS2 and 360, I found the game to be identical in terms of gameplay, it's just that with 360 version, because the graphics are so life like, you can tell just how much trouble your fighter is in by just looking at his face.

(cant see if the crowds are billboarded like the 360 version though.. not that it matters)
