FIFA Street 3 heading to DS
Heading again, eh? You bore.
Electronic Arts has revealed that in addition to PS3 and Xbox 360 versions, FIFA Street 3 is also on its way to Nintendo DS and will be released "early next year" - the same time as the others.
As you can see from the first fancy screenshots, it's boasting a "stylised new look" and, as perhaps you can't immediately tell, touch-screen controls. These will allow you to do the requisite passing, shooting, juggling, headers and bicycle kicks we've come to expect from EA's street-football ludicrous-'em-up. Along with that, you'll be able to fill your Gamebreaker bar and trigger touch-screen "team trick moments".
There will be "18 top international teams" to control, and a Street Challenge mode (with all the usual EA trimmings - "take them from Pretender to Legendary status by completing challenges, developing Team Chemistry, improving your Reputation and unlocking balls, kits and a few surprises") with "urban playgrounds of South America, the rooftops in Asia, the streets of Europe, or a special location in Africa exclusive to the Nintendo DS".
On top of all of that, there's a new DS mini-game called "Kick Ups" about keeping the ball in the air, which sounds like that wicked keepy-uppy web-game we used to play with the mouse.
