Fieldrunners coming to PSP this week
Tower defence title expands beyond iPhone.
Top-selling tower defence game Fieldrunners is making the move from iPhone to PSP this week.
As reported on the European PlayStation blog, it will launch as a PSP Mini title on 1st October.
"In Fieldrunners, your goal is to defend and control a field using a diverse selection of upgradeable towers over countless waves of enemies," explained Subatomic Studios' Jamie Gotch and Ash Monif. You must battle "many land and air combatants to achieve the ultimate victory", apparently.
The PSP game will feature lots of extra content, including new maps, towers and fieldrunners. You can also expect themed music and better graphics. The control system has been overhauled to allow for "more fine-tuned precision than ever before".
