I've said it before, the screenshots are much tastier than those of PGR 3, in my opinion. I don't think I've played a TD game since the C64 though.

True UncleL. And after playing PGR3 for a bit at X05, I'm getting more excited about this one everytime I read or see more of it.

"Test Drive Unlimited is due out on Xbox 360 around May/June 2006. Eden's considering a PC port."

And that's the bit that fucks it up... It's not out until summer NEXT YEAR, and it might not be exclusive. Damn it looks teh r0x0r$ tho!

TDU - sounds like a Train Drivers Union.

Having played the original Test Drive waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back, every development in the series since that time has been an average cash-in on the current flavour of the month racer.

This preview is definitely positive. Will it have enough to stand out amongst the crowd?

Crikey!

I'm trying to stay cynical about the 360, I've got one on order so I'm trying not to get all wet about it...but....

Crikey!

Holy streaming radio Batman! I didn't know Live could do that? Verrrry interesting... that means Live can hook up to external servers for content?

The idea that you 'live' in various properties, and can see people peeling off outside your house is genius.

I like the idea of proposing race routes via the GPS overlay....sounds epic. I hope they don't arse things up in the last 6 months of development.

So does this mean that EG has got their hands on their own 360 then?

Interesting polygon figures there, chaps. Particularly as Test Drive Unlimited's staff were around at X05 saying that their cars were just over 10,000 polygons and they didn't see the need for any more.

There's a vid out there with them saying it!

May I add my "whoohoo" to those supporting the idea of streamed radio during games (so long as the channel list is sufficiently varied).

I think M$'s XB360 rules about music in games is great. I.e. that the developer must allow the player the ability to play their own music at any time. Stick that in your nu-poprock licensed pipe and smoke it EA.

I'm not that keen on the 360, but this and Tiger Woods has got me interested. Will wait until after Xmas and the prices are down though

A Zonda vs a Murcielago....that can only be good :) I've already go a hard on.

It looks gorgeous too. I love the way they have gone about the graphics in this game. God knows how good the 360 graphics (and PS3 for that matter) are going to look in 4 years or so time.

The first pick does look surreal. But EG say the pics are representative of the game.
And with a few months left with the final dev, I can't imagine what it will look like.

It does look and sound more impressive than pgr3. Especially that live radio streaming shit.

/puts in "to watch" list.
