I love SMB - not sure about these 'adventures' though...

Sounds better than I expected. Are the physics in Challenge mode comparable to SMB2?

Looks absolutely brilliant!

Man, this game is looking really good. Any word on differences in control stick sensitivity between versions, or dead zones, like was the case with SMB Deluxe on the PS2 and Xbox? I'm getting the Cube version regardless.

That's mean and unfair. :< The original SMB on the Cube had extremely crisp and nice textures, even if they were just "grass" or "wood". It looked great.


And, for the purists, all the Challenge levels use the traditional camera type, which, though some still complain about it, is arguably an integral part of the attraction and difficulty.

Actually, no. That was my only, and my ONLY complaint about the first game. The rest of the game was intuitive and you felt completely in control, any difficulty lay in skill level, not in game flaws. EXCEPT for that damn camera. Especially when you had to do something slowly, at which point it just went all over the place, chaotically, seemingly not knowing what the fuck it was supposed to be doing. The mere addition of a single button to lock the camera behind the monkey would have been more than sufficient, and would have made a nearly perfect game into an actual perfect game. Bleh. :\
