Fate/Unlimited Codes tops PS Store

Plus: See F.E.A.R. 2 from another angle.

Fate/Unlimited Codes, the PSP beat-'em-up by Capcom, adds glitz to the PlayStation Store today.

At £23.99/€29.99, the game stuffs 250 fast-paced missions, weapons, magicians, knights, samurai and a Holy Grail Ultimate Combo. It's only available via digital distribution, too. There's some extra info on the EU PlayStation blog to gobble.

Buzz! Junior: Monster Rumble is worth a mention - partly because I can answer the questions - and there's an updated Fight Night Round 4 demo to trade blows with.

Meanwhile, F.E.A.R. 2 gains add-on Reborn, a beefy single-player campaign that tells the story from yet another point of view. Plus, all that Disgaea 3 DLC from the last week has been stuffed together for 40 quid, which sounds steep.

PAIN gets yet more content, as does High Velocity Bowling. Rock Band, on the other hand, gets a Talking Head pack and songs by The Jam, including "Going Underground" and "Town Called Malice". Weller never.

There's a PSP demo of Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman!, as well as extras for Prinny: Can I Really be the Hero? and Rock Band Unplugged. And that's it, go play Batman or something.

    £23.99 for Fate/Unlimited Codes is appalling :(

having already owned unlimited codes on the PS2, there's not much else this week. Still waiting for some PS1 classics to show up, like resi 2!!

Fairly reasonable update this week (compared to some weeks), but where's all the PS1 classics that other regions already had for weeks and weeks?

With Slim and firmware 3.0 this week, hoping for more icings in EU PSN store to show for our loyalty at being the more successful region for PS3 and PSP as per presentation recently from Sony.

MS and to lesser extend Nintendo manages EU localisations on a more timely manner, we was told we will see improvements and I believe we have seen some occasional improvements but nothing wrong with wanting a bit more!

Sigh. No PSone games at all. And who is going to pay £24 for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End?
  • LockeTribal #6 2 years ago

Who's going to pay £40 for all that Disgaea 3 dlc? You could buy the full game twice over for that!

What a bad update! They better sort out the prices for psp games when the psp go comes out but I doubt they will. Was hoping for Fallout 3: Broken Steel.

Ivan Tojakov? My, how clever you are to make a masturbation joke!

I thought this was a kids action game like Robo Jam as opposed to a quiz one?

    50 euro's for D3 DLC.

Fuck off. I was willing to pay for it but that's just a big middle finger right there.

Um...where the fuck are the animated themes and premium avatars?
  • almighty-slayer #13 2 years ago

Ha, and they didn't even release it "due to SCEE QA testing."

Seriously, SCEE...If it's okay for SCEA it's okay for you too...

So lets list the fuck ups shall we:

The Badman demo won't run on the current firmware and says you need to update to 5.55, which isn't available . Most current is 5.51

and Fate/unlimited codes is nowhere to be seen.

    Bravo!
