I bought this last night and as EG said it's "not bad"... LOL

... but it's not exactly brilliant either. It's passable entertainment for £15 and has its moments. Shame the developers didn't bother to fix the screen tearing... it's really quite nasty at times when there's a lot of vehicles on screen and it's noticeable when cornering.

It'll suffice until Wipeout HD eventually surfaces... WHENEVER THAT IS!!!

played it last nigh!!

i must say that it is the easiest game i have ever played!

what i pile of doo doo, the game is soo easy i had to slow down on the majority of my races just so that i could actually use a weapon.

and yeah,,, where the hell is wipeout!

Why is Wipeout HD taking so long? you'd thinik it was the kind of title Sony would make sure was out on release of the console let alone two years later.

I guess they hurried it to get at least some people to buy it in lieu of the ever-delayed Wipeout HD - the demo played like a flat version of Wipeout. With much much worse track design.

I prefer fatal enertia. Wipeout is very linear and you can only go one way on a track. At least on this you can go multiple ways. Wipeout is also very bland in level design, how do you think they are making 60fps?
As for getting confused on the tracks, the reviewer sucks at games, I had no problems playing.

Kudos to koei for making a great game for 15 quid. Your all cheapskates if you think that's lots.
