Yeah I'm not too interested in this either. I enjoyed WipeOut but so far nothing I have seen of this game convinces me. I'd rather have another Xtreme G.

Wasnt this one of the "OMG th3 real nex Gen" when shown off on the PS3 a couple of years ago? It's almost comedic the way everything has panned out and it's now basically a 360 exclusive!

The trailer was shocking sub PS2 rubbish, so if the 360 nicks bottom of the barrel dregs like this, on ya go. Wish they'd taken Full Auto:Battlelines. Maybe they'd like Dynasty Warriors Gundam as well (log on to a US server for the demo. Or actually, don't. Most boring one button mash with idiot queue up enemy AI I've had the misfortune to experience).
Lucky we can't lose Wipeout... that *would* be a disaster, no matter how flawed Fusion was. |

Looks like a tarted up version of Star Wars Pod Racer.....great...
Still, is interesting to see all these games go exclusive or at least come out a few months before the PS3 version. Sony are gonna really have to pull off a big E3 or things are only gonna get worse for them in the console market. Oh and 360 is getting Gundam as well :( |

The Real Mediocre Gen PS3 has become the Portastic Console of the Century.
It seems many deveopers are giving it the elbow,like who the fu## wants to develop on that thing,like juggling eggs with one foot! I don't see things getting better soon as every multi-platform game so far is underpar compared to the 360, and don't quote Oblivion as some 12 month later miracle either! As much as I'd prefer the reliablility of the PS3 compared to the the frail 360 Ring-of-Death Special,I'd sooner have a console that developers favour than the other way round. |

The real reason is its not worth the PS3 development cost as the sales of PS3 will be tiny anyway (due to pathetic sales figures worldwide)
I have no idea if this game will be good but the trend in general must be worrying for PS3 fans, sony seem happy to let PS3 sales slowly decline from an already unheard of low.. it seems they have invested so much money in PS3 that they cannot affoard to lose much more i dont believe overall the PS3 will ever be profitable for Sony (it already lost of $8bn in dev costs)

Apparently this game uses UE3 and the people at Koei couldn’t get it to work properly for PS3 which is something all UE3-based games suffer from as far as I’m aware. Apparently Epic’s tools for PS3 are shit. Read somewhere else that Sony and Epic are looking at the issue and try to solve it together.

But those pathetic sales would be bigger than a title like this would have gotten during a time with heavier competition. Now that they've missed the PS3 launch window and will probably not be able to release it before fall, I expect it's sales potential to be seriously reduced. |

I agree, although I question the move to go Xbox 360 exclusive, surely they're not THAT scared of Wipeout lol. |

Quantum redshift was great, and much underrated, IMHO. If this gets close to that I'll probably get it, am a sucker for sci-fi speedy racers...
