Fat Princess gets patch and free map News

PlayStation 3 News by Ellie Gibson

26 October, 2009

A new patch has been released for PlayStation Network title Fat Princess.

The highlight of patch 1.03 is a new map, titled New Pork City. It comes free of charge.

A host of gameplay tweaks have been made including new team-switching options, better ranking systems, character balancing and scoring updates. Plus candy confetti has been added as a special effect when blood is turned off, and even the loading screens have been given a lick of paint.

You can check out the full list of changes over on the European PlayStation blog.

Nice to see some companies still giving away content they could probably have charged for. Haven't picked this up yet but I'll have to get around to it now.
