Fallout 3 Collector's Edition unveiled News

PC Xbox 360 PlayStation 3
News by Ellie Gibson

21 April, 2008

Bethesda Softworks has announced Collector's Editions of the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 versions of Fallout 3 will be available for a limited time.

They'll include a 5-inch Vault Boy Bobblehead, a hardcover book titled The Art of Fallout 3 and a Making Of DVD. All this comes packaged with the game in a metal Vault-Tec lunch box.

The Collector's Edition will be available for pre-ordering worldwide, but there's no word on how much it'll cost. A plain old vanilla version is also due out this autumn.

I know these things just exist to squeeze pure profit from over-zealous fanboys, but...

WANT!

I'm not usually one to point out old news, but holy delayed news day, Eurogamer! This was announced, with images and all, literally about 2 weeks ago...

First time I’ve heard about it :)

I don't have enough hours in the day to scour the Internet for tit-bit news items of games and stuff I’m currently interested in. EG suits my needs fine, however belated it is :)

edit: spelling :)

Could not possibly want more. I'd start making lunches just so that I could carry them around in that thing.

==Disregard that, I've yet to awaken from the Monday morning stupor.==

I've said it before, I'm a sucker for limited editions (it's actually the only thing that will force me to purchase on release nowadays), so bring it on... and...TTIUWP!!!

Considering we're lucky to get a Fallout sequel once a decade, I'll be buying this!

Sadly drooling over a game, and yet again thinking of spending a huge amount of money over a game.

360 is ruining my finances and spare time. Plz stop releasing ultra-uber-amzingly-awesome titles (or not, but give me another life alongside this one).

Yeah, kinda guessed this.

All the rage these days, making "collectors editions". Of course, we know it's just to make more money, nothing to do with the game really, but the worst culprits are the ones which force players to buy the more expensive copy to get the games full content. *cough* EA* cough*

I'm glad Nintendo still keep it to one version for every game they publish. They'll probably jump on the bandwagon before long though.
