Why is he punching the face off Joey Deacon?

Also, it looks quite nice.

Notes Surfer Girl, yesterday:

1) Facebreaker is the successor to Fight Night (it did start as a Fight Night Round 4/Fight Night 08, but evolved into something more unique), but do not fear as it is does not disregard the strong gameplay of its predecessor.

To be honest I'd rather the gameplay was altered from Fight Night.

FN:R3 is my absolute favourite pugilistic experience, but I dont know how well that would translate to a cartoony environ. I play it with friends and we generally stay away from the 'super punches' as they are a bit unbalancing in an otherwise perfectly balanced game. It's as close to real boxing as I think possible on a console.

I suspect they would want to expand on the 'super punches' and maybe add some kind of combo system, to fit in with the style of the game, to make it appeal to a younger audience I guess...

We have the perfection of FN, so Facebreaker will hopefully be different enough to not replace FN but suppliment it.

I loved the mechanics of Fight Night but the presentation did nothing for me at all. I can't be doing with all the urban, hip-hoppity 'streetness' it tried to convey.

This appeals to me much more. All they need to do is get rid of the constant loading and the 576 'are you sure you want to save' confirmations and I'm set.

Kincaide said it first.

Sometimes the cell shading works really well for a game, but other times you just want realism. this is one of those times methinks.

What the fuckity fuck are you talking about?

Going by the ONE screenshot, and no gameplay - it looks very sweet to me.

Where you get the idea that these graphics arent good enough is beyond me.

Suprised no one's made a reference to the TF2 character models yet.

You know, if people were complaining about the last Fight Night EA would probably have them doing another one right now, since people seemed to love it they decided to try something else, even though many were looking forward to see if they could perfect the 4th(for the updated roster and rankings too).

RazorObsession: This isn't what I would call cel-shaded mate, have a look here.
