Roll on Friday! \o/

Even though my 360 is broke at the mo... I think I'll try prolong it's life for another week or two until I can get my filthy hands on an import copy of LBP. I think putting it outside the window(it's overheating frequently) with several fans blowing on it may do the trick!

Tempted to buy another 360 after my 1st rrod'd and i simply threw it in the skip. This game has me tempted, see microsoft? I am well and truly sitting on the fence on this one cause your hardware is so fucking wank.

Brilliant - collector's edition, pub games, even the flash games I was playing to get the extra items, all vindicated now! This looks superb - any comments on the co-op mode, as my missus will be immensely interested, she loved the first fable.

Sounds like they took all the best bits from the first game, and then focussed on all the other bits to bring them up to the same level.

/Is excited

Now I only hope they send it to me a day or 2 early. Please??

I didn't like the first game but just ordered the game today after seeing Edge's score... sound awesome!
Good high quality filler (with Dead Space) until LBP arrives in two weeks :)

Now the interesting thought here, is Fable II going to poo on Fallout 3's bonfire in the free roaming RPG stakes? If I had both pre-ordered and was looking to ditch one, it would be F3.

@Widge, I was already there with that conundrum, had fable 2 pre-ordered, wasn't quite so desperate for fallout 3 (even though i put in 140 hours in oblivion and completed fallout + fallout 2 twice!). I'm kinda torn -Don't think they should be released so close together, to be honest, one of them is going to suffer. I'm probably going to wait until the inevitable drought next year for fallout 3....
Edit: This must also be the most positive thread I've seen on EG for a long time yet.... 40+ posts with no blatant flaming? What's wrong?

Was quietly hopeful this would review well - awesome!

Will definitely get this and stick it on the shelf next to Mass Effect and Oblivion. Then Fallout 3 can join them all, too.

Then, when I finally lose my job due to recession, or break my back doing something truly stupid, I have plenty of entertainment to see me through the bad times :-)

My 360 hasnt been used in a while.
After reading this review I just quickly turned it on to make sure it still works. Then turned it off again.
Don't want to risk it RRODing on me before I buy this on Saturday.

Untill then, I shall amuse myself by reading this thread. Come on fanboys. I want at least 500 posts of drivel to laugh at!

you never know, there will probably be a F3 GOTY edition out at some point with all the bugs fixed and DLC bundled in for free! Been the same for the last few games of theirs.

But GTA4 was 10/10 as well and it wasn't nowhere that good.

I didn't plan to buy it,this autumn is gonna be wallet-busting.
