Pay BT. Fable 2 will still be around in a few weeks time, your internet may not be. @Everyone else Wasn't expecting a 10/10 and in truth I don't believe it is that good. I already had this pre-ordered so no change there. Always planned to get it but, I'm going to be expecting a 8/10 experience from it. |

Good writing thier by EG as well, my thirst for Fable 2 info has had me wade through a lot of dross elsewhere.

thats what pissed me off about the first one, i killed a couple of innocents by mistake and wasnt a saint so that must make me the worlds ugliest human evil people can take care of their looks too! |

well...thats dead space and fable 2 done. now I just have to see what fallout 3 gets....probaby have to get them all anyway.
its a good thing I don't have any friends cause if i did they'd probably complain about never seeing me.... |

3rd+ generation games (in a particular generation) are where the devs usually get to grips with the console fully hence more polishing time available to push towards that precious 10 score ... |

Evil doesn't make you look horrible in F2, i believe it just makes you pale. It's corruption vs purity that affects your looks. So you can have a good looking evil character and an ugly good character.

I was really enjoying that superbly written and informative review and then it suddently ended. Why no comments on the graphics, animation or audio? How decent is the voice-acting... it's like there's a chunk of the review missing.
Apart from that... WOW! A really impressive score and one which has me finally excited about the game despite being one of those that found the original Fable merely good but failing to deliver on its promises rather than magnificent and ambitious. Plus I can't wait to get a dog... it looks awesome in the videos I've seen and, for an RPG anyway, an original concept. Are there different dog species or is there just the one. Do other people in the game also have dogs? |

So, Far Cry 2, Fable 2 (seemingly a "must buy", Endwar, Bond, GOW2, Guitar Hero World Tour (not the full whistles and bells version - Guitar Hero II and II guitars, cheap USB mic, just the game - screw the drums!) and Call Of Duty 5...all coming out in the next month...
Better start pimping myself out then, eh? Or invest in some dice to choose which one makes the list..which ones should I leave and which should I buy? Hmmmm... //advice gratefully received.... |

Wow. I really had no interest in this game until now. I never had an original Xbox and I'm not that into free roaming RPGs ala Oblivion, so I kinda missed the boat on the first game. But this has me intrigued. Although I'll already be buying LBP around the same time, so I'm trying to decide between this and Far Cry 2. I don't think I'll have time for both.

Perhaps PM can finally stop being hounded by naysayers. Fable was charming, fun and deep if you chose to explore. Fable 2 sounds simply astounding.
All I need now is for Banjo to really deliver and there will be an almighty fight for GOTY. :) My walletz am cry... |

Well I personally like the idea of a game that doesn't punish me but rewards me instead as I play games for the experience not particularly for the challenge. I play games for F.U.N. I'm loving Saints Row 2 at the moment because it has a Casual setting and constantly throws rewards at me (but not too many Achievement points, ahem). Too often I've played games and got stuck at a certain point only to never finish them despite wanting to (Ninja Gaiden I'm looking at you!!!). BioShock was awesome because it wasn't just a great game but also one that never felt like it punished me so if Fable II's approach is like that then it will be one of the best games this year for me. Roll on Thursday/Friday! :D

Far Cry and Fable - get those. Leave Endwar forever. Bond can wait for £20 or below GOW2 more of the same and can wait for sub £15 GHWT if it floats your boat Better to go for new experiences in my opinion. Dead Space? Mirrors edge? |
