Fable II DLC coming next week News

Lionhead Studios has announced a finalised date of the 13th of January for the global release of the first nugget of Fable II DLC.
Knothole Island will sit just off the coast of Albion and will feature new quests, characters, shops, items and weapons. It'll cost 800 Microsoft Points (GBP 6.80 / EUR 9.60).
That isn't the only thing to look forward to, however. Lionhead has also revealed that "a free content update" will be available on Live, bringing a number of "gifts" from the people of Knothole Island to players, even if they don't purchase the DLC itself.
Items include Knight's Boots, Assassins Gloves, a special Weight Loss Potion, a collectible silver book and more. The update will also allow access to 50 new leaderboards on Lionhead.com.
A new premium theme based around the DLC is available now from both Live and Xbox.com. It's 250 Microsoft Points to you squire, if you like that sort of thing (or GBP 2.12 / EUR 3).

I need to play through this again to get the final ending achievement, so will probably start that next week and download this too, bosh

Looks like Fallout will be taking a snooze for a while. This will be getting my full attention until thoroughly complete.
Need to get Fallout complete as I want to start Fable again with an evil character. Dunno why I always play a goodie-goodie on my first playthrough of RPG's.. |

Oh yes. TBH I really wouldn't mind paying for DLC for these games (and Oblivion and L4D...) every few months like an MMO. I do not need new games, just keep the good ones rolling along. >I've been playing the shit out of Fable 2 again lately. Now I'm a fat, evil, ugly woman. BTW there is a sex-change potion in the Castle.

miiiguel could i take you up on the offer of the dolls its one of the last achievements i need ill send you i friends request over live if you dont mind,looking forward to a return to albion,is there likely to be more dlc it would be a shame if there is not.

Can I also join in on the Hero doll pass-around? I currently only have a single doll, it's the one with the union jack boxers ;)
This DLC couldn't have come at a better time for me, I've been playing the thing to death and have almost run out of quests (with the exception of slave rescues, that sort of thing...) Will be doing more of the Normanomicon quest tonight methinks. |

Does the DLC fix all the damn bugs that affect me playing the game. I especially hate the Westcliff shooting challenge message constantly being at the top of my screen stopping me from seeing how people feel about me and reading signs. It's driving me mad. I suppose I could restart but whats to say I wont experience any one of the other hundreds of other nasty bugs!
Good Game though! :) *typed 'Patch' instead of 'DLC' earlier :P

Sure dude... I'm spreading the love. A very nice american guy gave me the dolls, the least I can do to the community is lending them arround.
You're welcome. edit: if by any chance any of you has 49 silver keys, let me be your hench man so I can be present when you grab the the 50th... I can't seem to find those last 2 (I miss 3, but I think I know where 1 of them is).
