New trailer for God of War II? Should be 3 (or III) surely, no?

£40 for a PSP game with no box, instructions or trade value. Let's take a minute to think about that and laugh.

Kind of bored of the PS Store right now, well very bored is probably more true. Just rename is to the PSP store Sony, you know you want to.

FEAR 2 was a bit of a let down. The lack of configuration options for the controller means that you are stuck playing the game their way or no way at all :(

Sony needs to make up for losses, hence the 40 pounds. They cost me 3 consoles and I only bought 3 games, so that's a total loss of about 3x400-(3x59)= 1023 Euro and that's not counting the 6 times postage of the PS3 which they had to pay for returning and sending the refurbished ones. Glad I could contribute to your losses, Sony!

Maybe it's just me, but the framerate in the FEAR 2 demo was horrible.

That, and I still can't manage to keep L2-R2 for more than a short time without losing the grip. Stupid convex triggers.

I'd forgotten just how excellent everyday shooter is. one of PSN's true hidden gems and now available on the move. plus it's a mere 43MB. with this and SSDP my PSP has transformed into a proper games console. more like this Sony.

Have a nosey at these. Good price on them too, though I think GAME store sell them these days so they might be cheaper without postage.

I'm sure I saw Endwar in Game's buy one get one free section. £40 is just sheer NO. Who would pay that?

If they stick non-new release PSP games up for £10, then that would be right on the tempting side of things. Anything more and no.

Yeah, I got some in Game for a quid. They're actually quite comfy.

I thought the Endwar stuff must be mispriced - wouldn't be surprised to see it changed swiftly ... actually scratch that I'd be surprised to see it done swiftly because the Euro PSN rarely does anything at speed :)

I thought Endwar was a PS3 download when I saw the price yesterday.

Everyday Shooter? Does this game have a different name in the UK because I have never seen this on the store for the PS3 and i didn't see it yesterday for the PSP.

Has anyone else seen Everyday Shooter for the PS3 on the UK store?

kangarotoo: hey, nice there. I've had enough with my fingers slipping out while I'm firing. Guess i'll give those a try.

Umberty: don't know, I thought it was real bad in some points. And sometimes without particular reason, like, at times the framerate would drop while looking around in an empty room, or walking in a corridor.

Yes, nice idea to put the crouch button on R3. Besides that, it was probably the dullest demo I've played, ever.

The shooting in Fear 2 was fun,but frame rate and jaggies weren't.I hope the 360 version is better.

So aren't European PS3 owners ever going to get the Street Fighter HD game then? Didn't it come out for the 360 and US PS3 users almost TWO months ago?!? Considering the 360 version was multi-language (presumably, since it got a worldwide release) why does it take so long for SCEE to release it over here? Can someone explain that to me? I'm sure it isn't just sheer incompetence...

@ Darren

I don't think the current build of HD Remix is good enough to pass SCEE's testing process. There have been lots of people complaining about the bugs.

I heard Street Fighter has no trophy support. Perhaps that is the hold up. Are not all releases supposed to have them now?

"Rock Band, meanwhile, gets a Steve Miller Band pack for GBP 2.49. Inside are songs "Space Cowboy", "Take the Money and Run" and "The Joker"."

Nice song titles. Sounds like a bad joke at consumers expense.

This is why I don't like digital distribution. End war PSP - £39.99, or boxed with UMD for £20 at game - with the added benefit of you being able to give to friends, trade in etc.

Its the same with iTunes etc. Albums are released at a set price, over time they get reduced until something like £2.99 at play.com, whereas its still at launch price on iTunes.

Anyone who buys End War for £40 or the Skate 2 unlock features deserves to win a special Richard Cranium platinum trophy to go with it, and people wonder why gamers are so cynical about online purchases and DLC 'content'.

Didn't like the FEAR 2 demo at all. Bland, drab graphics, some stupid blurry thing attacking me in that I can't kill, lights flickering on and off giving me a headache... is this supposed to be someone's idea of fun?

I find the subtitle very misleading. Almost nothing in that update kept me busy at all, since I don't have GH or Rock Band.
FEAR 2? Oooh, I haven't played an FPS in.. at least 5 minutes. Maybe they should put up another tower defense game while they're at it. Where the hell are StreetFighter and Lumines?

It looks like the 360 version of fear 2 is better than the PS3 one. I downloaded the demo on both and there is quite a bit of frame rate drops in the ps3 one. There is none in the 360 one. Unless they fix this in the ps3 one before launch expect more negative ps3 comparisons.

I've played all three demos of F.E.A.R. 2 and thought the PS3 version was the worst with a poorer framerate and a lack of anti-aliasing. No surprises there really. The 360 version looks much nicer but compared with the superb PC version its capped 30 fps and slightly blurry look puts in second place.

Considering the PC demo is over twice the size of the console ones, it's no surprise that it looks and runs better. PC version ordered... loved the game, it has atmosphere and the A.I. is superb compared with most other FPSs. Can't wait to play it... this is the first game of 2009 that I'm looking forward to.

Hmmm, there's a stylish survival horror FPS, a competent HL2-style shooter and a next-gen Shogo: Mobile Armour Division in here. But trying to do all three in one game comes across as a bit messy.
