EyePet community can now share videos

Small patch released for PS3 camera game.

Sony has popped out a patch for EyePet, enabling online video sharing by the community.

That's great.

The developer has also ironed out some kinks and EyePets will be able to hear you properly regardless of PlayStation Eye microphone settings. Various other teeny tweaks have been made that you may or may not notice.

EyePet, for those unaware, is a PlayStation Eye game about interacting with a cute pet. Head over to our EyePet review to find out more.

    Who is actually playing with an Eyepet morethan a couple of times total and who will wanna share videos of it? :S

    I think being able to share videos could definitely increase the number of times people are going to want to play it. Hopefully not TOO many snuff movies though. ;)

    Does it use the Youtube thing?

    @makeamazing
    I'd recommend a surreptitious pre-install/pre-patching session before the 25th in order maintain xmas day harmony =)

    @bigglesworth, ah true, but my kids are smart, they would notice something is up on the trophy list or something, Santa will have to do it on the 24th night.

    @davisorle, its a kids game, kids enjoy this stuff :) .... /me thinks someone should be treated for depression.

    EyePet is cute, but god is hard to work under CFL lighting. You may as well not bother playing it unless you have full daylight to do it in. Games like gardening and drawing just don't work properly.

    When you have perfect conditions it works pretty well but motion sensing is still imprecise and it is necessary to repeat motions sometimes. If you want to know what sort of issues to see in Natal, look at EyePet and multiply the frustration and dashed expectations by 10.

    Thing that annoys me is doing everything in reverse. If i want to move the magic card i have the consciously think of which way i am moving it (and half of the time i move it the wrong way)

    I do think this game shows that something like a Wand could really help here, or Natal obviously.
