Cannot wait but here's hoping for it being dirt cheap with a free copy of Banjo Kazooie 64 for pre-ordering! Well, in the words of Elvis, "If I can Dream".

Wow... some good stuff in there. I wonder how expansive the vehicle editor is.

Good stuff... but the vid quality is terrible, even on high.

I love Rare and I love Banjo, but this doesn't look too good at all. I want to believe, but the game looks like a shambles. Let's just hope it gets a lot of polish before November too.

"Rare should have made a straight up platformer and forgot about trying to be different"

Or perhaps they should have stuck with a 2d platformer, oh hell, why not lose the platforming altogether and keep it a simple run'n'jump. Nah, sod that they should have kept it simple and just had a page of text explaining the story and maybe a picture. Second thoughts, having a picture is too revolutionary.

I'm so glad people like you don't have a say in anything significant, or we would all be living in caves and wearing animal furs right now.

What planet are you two on? This looks like a Scrap Heap Challenge simulator. Reminds me a little of the old school Mind Rover without the degree in electrical engineering.

This looks like it has loads of potential. I hope the vehicle creation actually matters in the single player, i.e. it's not just a case of creating a different way to go from A to B without much impact gameplay wise - hell I suppose even if it is that it will be a load of fun anyway.

Having just watched the Challenges vid my fears appear to be unfounded. Lots of scope for custom builds for each challenge. Nice.

This could very well be amazing, the vehicle creator is gonna be the magic of this game. An almost limitless about of vehicle combinations, to tackle the in-game tasks. And MP almost everyone with a unique vehicle online, as I said before could be amazing.

"Rare should have made a straight up platformer and forgot about trying to be different, as it hasn't worked."

And the idiot award goes to Coin-op who can judge a game before it is released. If you are original people complain that you should stick to old stuff and if you stick to old stuff people complain that you are not original. People just like to complain.

"What's wrong with caves and animal furs??

Cavist. "

Pffft, caves are for losers, I got me a pimped out Igloo. Now that's a dwelling!

Must admit I kinda dig the furs, must have been hell in caveman times though what with animal rights activists causing a stink left right and centre. ;)

i must admit i was dissaponted in the new direction this game is going
yes i know that things must evolve and all that but there are no good platformers on 360 so why take such a massive risk?
they could have still made this game and just changed the name, then made a new banjo game.
i really hope it turns out to be brilliant as the original is one of my all time faves.
im a bit gutted the xbla version isnt getting a graphical face lift too.
i will buy both regardless tho.
