Heh. Sony should really push Kratos more; he's a very distinctive character from arguably their finest franchise at the moment. Could be a good marketing tool.

    No argument about it :)

It looks wrong through, he seems to be the same width as normal but 3ft shorter.

They could have "cutified" him more.

    US only,, GREAT!

SCEE, please, for the love of christ sort it out!

Haha, I love the "BIRDIE" picture.

ha ha, i really dont like the painful nu-metal character design of Kratos, but that is hilarious, wicked idea.

(i suppose this is feeding on from that Chun li clothing unlock eh?)

Hehe. The shot where he is lining up is my favourite. Could imagine him taking all that time and then using a driver to whack it somewhere else.

    Nice idea, bad execution.

This has got to be the least appropriate genre cross-over I've ever seen.

Everybody's Golf is a family game right? So who is going to explain to the little ones who the big angry man is?

"He's a character from a game franchise you're too young to play or really know much about, considering it's full of graphic violence, gore and nudity"

Hell, why not bung in a super-deformed Nico or Solid Snake? It's not like the industry is notorious for encouraging or turning a blind eye to under-age gaming already, is it?

    It's NOT US only!!

Agree, surely should've put Ratchet or Crash in it.
  • myiagros #13 4 years ago

Ratchet & Clank and Jak & Daxter were already in Hot Shots Golf Fore on PS2 if i remember correctly.

I think Kratos will be a really cool addition, hopefully Nariko, Nathan Drake etc. arn't too far behind

    Crash?

Neither Naughty Dog nor Sony own that IP.
  • Triggerhappytel #15 4 years ago

But I wish they did so we could get another ND-developed Crash Team Racing.

It's not that bad, Thanks to Marayuma being a real life golfer EG-fied Kratos doesn't look out of place at all, it's not like Kratos is ripping out people's splene's when he gets a bogey.
And there's barely anyone online in the 10-20 age group anyway.

Love it when I get an eagle with him. :)

    @Steroyd

I'm sure he works well IN the game, my point was that he shouldn't BE IN the game, as he's from an inappropriate source.

My worry is that once characters from restricted games are allowed to populate "safe" ones, the little tykes become used to them and will, in all probability, seek them out in other titles. The WRONG titles for them to be playing.

It's the same reason why they dont have Leatherface presenting Newsround. In a manner of speaking.
  • rhinoxious #18 4 years ago

Ok, so he could have been more cutified,

but the fact he looks so incongruous is why it's genuinely amusing.
  • RoyalBiscuit #19 4 years ago

It looks like 'Mini Me' dressed up as Kratos
  • Steroyd #20 4 years ago

Like I said before there's barely anyone online between the 10-20 age group, not to mention mommy and daddy would need to give the little tyke clearance to buy the DLC in the 1st place.

If it was included in the disc day 1 you have a point, but that concern is filtered out somewhat with it being DLC.
  • FladgeMangle #21 4 years ago

On the contrary, it makes no difference.

Once the character is downloaded the game is no longer the same.

Which is annoying, because Kratos in Everybody's Golf? Hell yes for me, hell no for my kids.
  • callum9999 #22 4 years ago

Well, you could always try saying its a new character not in any other games if its that damaging for them to know.
