Eurogamer Expo this October!
Dozens of brand new games to play.

Eurogamer is delighted, overjoyed and just generally superlatively emotive to announce our brand new consumer videogames event, the Eurogamer Expo!
The Expo (E2, if you like) takes place at the Old Truman Brewery in London on 28th and 29th October as part of the London Games Festival 2008, and features tons of big Christmas games for you and your friends to play on every system.
We've got Street Fighter IV, Prince of Persia (exclusive first UK hands-on!), Mirror's Edge, LittleBigPlanet, Tomb Raider Underworld, Far Cry 2, Fallout 3, Saints Row 2 and tons of others. See the Eurogamer Expo website for the full listing.
In order to guarantee a ticket for the Eurogamer Expo, all we ask is that you make a GBP 5 donation to UK videogames charity GamesAid. We'll be letting people loose on the games in five-hour sessions: from 11am-4pm and 5pm-10pm on 28th October and the same again the next day.
More details on all that can be found on the official Expo website, where you can also sign up for the Eurogamers and Facebook groups. So head over to http://expo.eurogamer.net to find out more, and we'll see you there!

Seriously, this is great. It's possibly the only consumer games show I'll ever attend (I'm in Dublin).

Good that it's for charity though. I wonder if Play.com will be having another event this year? EDIT: OOPS! That WAS this year, in March. I'm losing it.
