Cool. I would appreciate anything that is done to keep a decent rotation on the popular games, though. It wasn't so much the queuing last time, but the fact that a lot of people seem to have the "I'm too polite" disease and couldn't ask people for a go. It's also difficult to tell how long someone's been on, or how long is long enough, etc...
Also please organise another tournament for me to fail at. And, at the careers fair, please have more/a greater presence for games journalism, PR and other non-dev positions. That's all now thanks. |

Edit: What are the restrictions on photography at the show? Do we need to get permission to bring camera equipment in or can anybody attending take photos?

Some publishers were very nervous about people taking pictures. Microsoft with Gears of War 2 last expo were the strictest but the Fallout guys were none too pleased with the odd photographer. To avoid upsetting people it's best to just ask the 'handler' of the game if it's possible to take photos :)

This time around please just have a guy hand out the gears tags and whatever else there is. I missed out on a tag because I thought someone had dropped it and was far too polite to steal it in case they came back. I then find out a day later that they were just laying about for the taking as some strange competition!
We're british! We think anything on the ground is destined for lost and found. We either just leave it there or hand it in to the police you bastards! |

Will both days be the same in terms of whats on display and suchlike or will be need to attend both days to get the most out of it?

Is there a careers fair again so i can chat to all the young hopefuls and advise them to actually do some game programming/design/art in their spare time so that they will stand out from the crowd of graduates.

I was thinking more about whether the two days at either location will be any different or whether both days are the same. For example, will October 27th at Leeds be any different to October 28th at Leeds? Any different events, games etc. Just trying to decide whether it is worth going on both days or just one day :) |

Leeds? Fucking Leeds? LEEDS? THAT'S NOT NORTH! Look at a map of the UK. Notice something? Yep, it's South. very South. It's practically the South Pole. Okay, maybe a bit far there :P
It's actually better than I thought it'd be, I was expecting Manchester, so that's nice. I've never been to Leeds, should be worth the visit. |

Whoo! A Northern leg. A might be able to come then. Perhaps I can trick some of my friends into coming. Thats not very likley though. I'll go by myself though. I don't need friends.
